About the Event
You didn't think we'd let Pride go by without giving you all a space to be heard and seen! For our next Ball we are celebrating the heroes of Pride! The activists, the trailblazers, the artists and the progress makers. Each category will be inspired by one hero. We want to take pride back to its roots of activism and there is no better time that right now! No corporate floats, no pinkwashing! Pride began as a riot against police brutality at Stonewall started by trans women of color. In keeping with this activism a portion of all tickets and donations will go to charities that work with queer people of colour and black lives matter.
