If you or someone you love has experienced a hate crime due to your sexual orientation or gender expression we recommend you call the police (117) and try to document some features of the attacker. You should also call the LGBT Helpline, even if you think you don’t need help or if the attack was already a from some time ago - as they register the cases. You can either call them via 0800 133 133 or send an email via www.lgbt-helpline.ch. Also, check out the Pink Cross who are working on a referendum to change the way hate crimes are reported. You can find more information and how to support them on their webpage - www.pinkcross.ch.Â
